What we do with your information.

Golds Jewelry and Loan is at 235 East Warner Road, Suite 106, Gilbert, AZ 85296. This page explains what we do with the information you give us on this website, and what the website collects on its own. We sell none of it, and we keep as little as we can.
What you send us
Through the form. On our Get an offer and Contact Us pages we collect the name, email address and telephone number you enter, the reason you choose — selling a piece, asking about a collateral loan, looking for something to buy, or something else — and anything you write in the message. The telephone number and the message are optional. We also record which of the two pages you used and when you sent it.
What we never ask for here. There is no account to create and nothing to buy. We do not ask for identification, financial details or photographs of your items on this website. Please do not send them through the form; bring them to the store, where we can handle them properly.
What the website collects on its own
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which searches and links bring people here: the pages you look at, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device you use, and where you arrived from. We also count four actions: tapping one of our phone numbers, opening directions, opening our Instagram, and sending the form. For the form we record only the reason you chose and which page you used, never what you wrote. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. Google Analytics deletes this information within 14 months of your last visit, and some of it after two months. Summary reports that identify no one, such as how many visits a page had in a month, are kept.
Spam protection. To stop automated messages, we count how many messages arrive from each internet connection in an hour. For that count we store a scrambled form of the connection’s internet address, not the address itself. It cannot be turned back into the address without a secret key that we keep, and we use it for nothing else. The counts are deleted after seven days, the next time anyone sends us a message.
Content from other services. Some parts of the website load from other companies’ servers. When they do, your browser sends those servers the standard information any website receives, including your internet address:
- the fonts on every page, from Google Fonts;
- the map on our Find Us page, from Google Maps, which may set cookies of its own.
Links to Instagram take you to Instagram, where its own privacy policy applies.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, by email, or by telephone if you gave a number.
- To keep the form free of spam.
- To understand whether people are finding the website and which parts help them.
We do not use anything you send through the website to make a decision about you. Offers are made in the store after your piece is tested, and loans are arranged in person.
The opening announcement
If you asked, on our earlier coming-soon page, to be told when the store opened, you receive one email announcing it. That is one email, not a newsletter, and it includes a way to be taken off the list. We do not send marketing.
Who we share it with
- We do not sell your information, to anyone, for any purpose.
- We share it only with the service providers that run the website for us: Microsoft Azure, which hosts the website and stores form submissions; Azure Communication Services, which delivers them to our inbox; and Google Analytics. They handle it on our behalf.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions: 12 months, then deleted.
- Sign-ups from the coming-soon page: until 30 days after the opening announcement is sent, then moved into the system we use to serve customers, or deleted.
- Spam-protection counts: seven days, then deleted the next time anyone sends us a message.
- Analytics: as described above.
If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it
- stop contacting you
Email us at sales@goldsjewelryandloan.com and we will take care of it. We do not require you to explain why.
You can also turn off analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. The website works normally either way.
Children
This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website can promise perfect security, and we would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the website collects or how we use it, we change this page and update the effective date at the top.
